Jonathan began his career in financial services as a Financial Planning Consultant with the Pearl Group in 1986. Since then, Jonathan has worked for several companies gaining immense experience in various different roles. Apart from being a successful Financial Consultant, Jonathan has looked after key national accounts at companies such as Abbey Life and Allied Dunbar / Zurich Independent. Jonathan left Zurich in 2004 to play a key role in establishing Martin Hirst Financial Consultancy and remains an indispensible senior member of the team. Jonathan specialises in giving pension advice where he has built an excellent reputation, recognised by his appointment as the Independent Pension Specialist for a large local building society.
